Cryogenic Group

The Cryogenic Storage Systems Group of KDT Engineering Department (fondly called “KDT Cryo”), established in June of 2013, is one of the business units of KHI Design & Technical Service, Incorporated. Basing on design standards by KHI Japan, members of the group are engaged with the structural and piping design of cryogenic storage tanks.

A cryogenic storage tank is a specialized type of tank used to store liquefied inflammable gas, mainly Hydrogen and natural gas, at significantly low temperatures. Liquefied natural gas is maintained at -162 °C, while Liquid Hydrogen is maintained at −252.87 °C.

KHI Cryogenic Storage Systems Department, together with KDT Cryo, aims to provide clients with excellent service on the design of cryogenic storage tanks.
